Margaret Kirlin

Margaret Kirlin headshotMargaret Kirlin, M. S., is a fourth-year graduate student in the Pacific University School of Professional Psychology and a member of the school’s Latino bilingual track.  She earned her Master’s degree in clinical psychology in 2010 and is working towards a doctorate in clinical psychology.  Her passion is working with individuals, families, and groups to promote healing from the effects of trauma, especially domestic violence and sexual abuse.  She is interested in the integration of the mind and body in the healing process and the therapeutic use of yoga.  She believes strongly in each person’s innate wisdom and capacity for healing, wellness, and growth.  She served as a Peace Corps volunteer in the Dominican Republic from 2006 – 2008, where she learned Spanish.  She is proud to use this skill in serving the Latino community of the Portland area.
